GRAND SLAM AFRICA POETRY CHANGES VENUE TO KENYA NATIONAL THEATRE

 The change of venue will see poetry and music enthusiasts enjoy the show at the heart of the city- central to people coming from different parts of the city and beyond. It will also of a cultural twist to the show given the rich heritage is the national theatre. 

Creative Spills has announced venue changes to some of its 2025 Slam Africa Poetry events. "Due to  unforeseen circumstances, we would like to inform you that there has been a change in the venue for some of the Slam Africa Festival events initially scheduled to take place at Braeburn Theatre. The events will now be held at the Kenya National Theatre (KNT,)"reads a statement on the Creative Spills Facebook page.

The affected events events are:

KENYAN ARTIST BRINGS THE FUTURE IN THE PAST IN THE CURRENT EXHIBITION

THE 2026 SLAM FESTIVAL ELEVATED KENYA'S PERFORMANCE SCENE TO INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS

  In what turned out to be a night of celebration, anger and bravado, the Slam Africa Poetry Festival would reveal that it had not lost its touch. Since its inception, the poetry showcase has shown its inclusivity by bringing on board other nationalities to participate in Slam poetry competition in the Kenya’s capital Nairobi.
